- No material change on 13 July: the official-source probe confirmed the principal Lloyd’s Lab, FCA, UKRI, NatWest, FinTech Innovation Lab, InsurTech Gateway, Google, Microsoft and NVIDIA pages remain available, but exposed no new programme-specific deadline or eligibility change. Existing cards are retained without artificial date bumps.
- Source rechecks remain: candidate Barclays Eagle Labs and LSE Generate URLs returned 404, and the Lloyd’s Lab news URL remained unavailable. Previously tracked dates are not promoted as current without another official source.

Status / dates
Applications for Cohort 2 are open and the official page says applications close on 5 August 2026. Programme runs September 2026–April 2027 with 8 in-person sessions, delivered by InsTech.ie in partnership with Furthr. No fee and no equity. Ireland-focused: especially Irish-based founders or startups committed to growing from Ireland; strong international teams with an Ireland connection or commitment may be considered.
Fit for BEEP-ai / AIREKA
Strong insurance-market fit if BEEP-ai is framed as an insurtech product for underwriting, claims, risk, AI, distribution, customer engagement or operational workflow improvement. AIREKA can support the discovery, workflow-analysis, implementation and pitch narrative around the product.
Action / prepare
Check Ireland eligibility/commitment, book office hours if useful, and prepare the application with product demo, insurance problem statement, founder story, target customer, scalability case, mentor asks and no-equity accelerator rationale.

Good thematic fit for AI-enabled insurance workflow, agency operations, customer experience and preventable-loss use cases. Practical fit is lower than UK routes unless BEEP-ai has a US market-entry partner, US customer validation or a clear US insurance pilot angle.
